“Natasha” is a typical nude painting by Grigory Gluckamann. American artist Grigory Gluckmann was inspired by French Impressionism, specially by the compositions of Degas and Renoir. Gluckmann loved to use the theatre and ballet as his subjects in this paintings. Born in Russia in 1898, Grigory Gluckmann studied in Moscow. He moved to Paris in 1924 where he received an enthusiastic welcome from both collectors and art critics. Gluckmann participated in many exhibitions in Paris, London, New York, Los Angeles, Phoenix, and Dallas. It was Gluckmann’s brilliant technique and unique artistic vision that most effectively displayed his exceptional talent.
